Boambilly House
The Boambilly House draws inspiration from its surrounding landscape, embedding the home with in it to create a seamless transition between inside and out, exploring the notion of the ‘third space’ Textural selections such as travertine, sandstone and marble have been influenced from the variety found within Majorca’s main cities.

There is an overwhelming softness about this house, through clever use of sweeping archways, subdued tones and natural textures. The warmth in this space comes from golden teak finishes and the golden light of the sun which bounces around the space and creates ever changing shadows. Two atriums have been included to maxmise on this sunlight and forge a stronger connection between the inside and out, often blurring the lines between the two.

The vision for this dwelling was to create a calming, relaxed atmosphere, taking in expansive views through the openness of the pavillion style floor plan. It is a home designed to evoke feelings intimacy and calmness but also generosity and excitement. It is a home for entertaining and sharing, but also for relaxing and being content.
